Assessment & Strategy
- Adopt priorities and timeline
- Authorize and conduct Situation Analysis activity
- Establish search process with Search Committee
Define Ideal Candidate
- Use Situation Analysis data to define Ideal Candidate Profile
- Identify desired outcomes from position during intended contract period
Recruit & Evaluate Candidates
- Utilize secure Candidate Portal
- Receive and manage candidate credentials
- Review documents and rate candidates
- Identify candidates who best fit the Ideal Candidate Profile
- Communicate details of position requirements for review and response by each candidate
- Ensure quality and diversity of candidate pool
Screen & Select
- Select best candidates for initial discussion and rating, followed by interviews of semifinalists
- Search Committee ratings identify group of finalists for on-campus interviews
- Conduct appropriate background checks on all finalists
Negotiate &Announcement
- Make offer of position and compensation
- Sign Memorandum of Understanding for future contract
- Prepare for press conference
- Assist with contract negotiations and onboarding (optional)
